Sukhen Tanchangya
For some, camping is a weekend escape. For me, it’s peace—waking to birdsong, rustling leaves, and crisp air. Nature’s simplicity makes me question returning to the noise of modern life.
Meet Sukhen Tanchangya

Hi, I’m Sukhen Tanchangya, born and raised in the Rangamati district of Bangladesh. Rangamati is a stunning hill-surrounded region that attracts thousands of tourists every year because of its natural beauty. I live in a small part of this district called Kaptai, which is famously known as the “Beauty of Queen.” Yes, it’s as beautiful as it sounds, and you might already feel tempted to visit. Take a quick peek at the picture below to see for yourself.
Storyline
I’m a graduate, but I’m not currently working a traditional job—though I used to. These days, I freelance and blog whenever I have the time. You might wonder why I blog about camping. Well, it’s because I’m passionate about traveling and camping. I absolutely love camping, especially cooking over a campfire.
There are so many types of stoves in the world, but nothing compares to the flavor that comes from cooking over a campfire. It’s something you just can’t replicate with a gas or electric stove—ever.
But it’s not just about the food. Outdoor camping allows you to escape the noise and chaos of modern society. For some, camping might be a sport, but for me, it’s an adventure and a peaceful retreat, far from the hustle and bustle. I’ve got plenty of pictures from my travels and camping trips, and I’ve shared a few here.
“outdoortrekz.com” is my personal blog—it’s not a company blog or a service website. My main goal is to share my practical experiences through this blog so that others, especially new campers, can benefit from them. Unlike some bloggers, I don’t buy camping gear just to write review articles. Instead, I write about the gear I already own, and for the items I don’t have, I research and collaborate with experienced campers to create helpful content.

What gear do I use for camping
I’m an regular camper, and I only use camping gear that I can afford and that meets decent quality standards. For cooking over a campfire, I have a portable cooking kit and a portable camping gas canister, which are easy to carry.
As a solo camper, my cooking kit and gas canister are my best buddies out there. The cooking kit is just a simple set of pots, pans, and utensils—nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. The gas canister is this small, portable thing that fuels my little camping stove. It’s super handy when I can’t find dry wood or just want to boil water quickly. Together, they make cooking outdoors easy and stress-free.
Additionally, I have three different types of camping tents that I’ve been using for a long time.
The places I travel to
I have traveled to many places both domestically and internationally within my budget, including Myanmar, India, and Thailand. Within my own country, I love Bandarban the most, and among its many attractions, Nafakhum stands out as one of the best places to visit. It offers breathtaking sights, and even the journey to Nafakhum is filled with adventure. My favorite spot is “Nafakhum,” located in the Bandarban district. It’s a serene place with small cottages where tourists can stay. The highlight is a beautiful waterfall and a river filled with rocks—once you see it, you won’t want to return to the mechanical world we live in.
Other stunning locations in Bandarban include Remakri, Debotakhum, Nilachal, Nilgiri, and Keokradong. With its majestic mountains and waterfalls, Bandarban is so captivating that once you visit, you won’t want to leave.
